Bought this week
I love this time of year when all the new AW13 stock starts filtering in to the Shops. Over the next 4 weeks it's time to start picking out all those key pieces you want for your winter wardrobe. On my list was the new midi skirt and in leather to wear with boots and chunky knits this winter. Whistles always knows how to do it !

Bought this week
Finally succumbed and invested ( yes I say invested as they're a quality, timeless item that you could re sale in 10 years time and still get the same value you paid for them ) and bought an expensive pair of sunglasses!
For the least 8 years( post kids) I didn't feel I was responsible enough but now the kids are older and I feel like a proper adult I decided I was ready. I chose these specific ones because I love the simple tomboy look, no frills & they hopefully will withstand the test of time and fashion trends.

Styling tip : When buying an expensive pair of sunglasses I wouldn't get a style that's too high fashion because next year they will be out of fashion. Invest in a chic timeless pair and then just buy a few cheap pairs of trendy sunnies from Topshop or Asos to bring you up to date each season.
The only other sunglasses I to and fro'd with was the fabulous Karen walker...maybe in another 8 years !!

Today I'm wearing
Bought this bomber jacket from Topman the other day. I often look round the mens stores as you can find some great things. I always buy my daughter boys clothes because the girls stuff can be a bit too frilly and pink !
In fact I would love it if there was a store that's unisex !! So you walk into the store and there is no different sections for men or women & the clothes are neither masculine or feminine .... simple and androgynous....And that's what the shop should be called Androgynous !!

Bought this week
Picked these up in the Topshop sale, a month or so ago.
White shoes is a big trend for next year. I love the simplicity of these sandals and I know they will be a chic staple in my wardrobe come the summer. To be honest I would of had them in every colour if they had them. They are fabulous on, just have to wait now till next year to wear them!

Been away in Tenby for the last 4 days staying in a beautiful lodge overlooking the see. Perfect end to the summer hols. Came home to a parcel. My new Zara boots.Can't wait to style these up !!
