Bath on Ice 

Went along to the opening night of the Bath Ice skating rink last night. We were offered complimentary bubbles when we arrived while hot chocolate was on hand for the kids. They had arrange a lovely ice skating show to get us in the mood before we were all let loose on the ice to try and recreate the performances we had just seen !! 

 Had a great night and I'm impressed on how they had improved and developed it on from last year, obviously taking notes and adding a covered entrances where you can hang out and watch the skaters with the luxury of a bar and food stall...perfect! 

The kids had a fab time and are keen to go back at the weekend. #bathonice

Sorry for the lack of posts but have just finished my Pilates training and had a lot of revision to do for my final exam ... But all done now yeah !!

Paris

Had a great weekend in Paris for my best friends wedding . I'm wearing Three floor dress with Klear Klutch bag and the boy is wearing a Kooples suit . 

Had the best lunch at Cafe Charlot, if you visit paris you must check it out ! 

Weekend

Had such fun at the weekend. It was one of my close friends hen do, so us girls all piled in to a car and drove down to Crewkerne to celebrate with some glam camping!!

Norfolk Beard Oil

I love it when life brings new experiences in to your life. Me and the Mr were enjoying a late morning slice of cake and an earl grey tea  in the delectable  Fine cheese company in Bath. A rarity when you have 2 young children so even more enjoyable when you get that opportunity. Now my man has a beard and so I always notice other men with beards ...It's my one weakness!

He handed the Mr a card, which was thoughtfully selected for him... titling him a WARRIOR! There is many types of bearded men apparently and mine is a warrior...I kinda like that. So the bearded man commented on my bearded man's fine beard, I think for a man of a certain age ( mid 30's ) it's quite nice to receive kind words on your manliness recognising your true Masculinity, and then he left ! 

And now my Mr needs some Beard oil in his life ....

I like unique and interesting alternatives to our usual way of life so when I came across this lovely piece of furniture I knew exactly what I would do with it ! I love giving something a new lease of life. I was going to paint it and modernise it a bit but I kinda like the raw appeal to it now .

Now thats just for my favourite heels ...where to put the rest and my boots and trainers ??

Ombre

Had my hair dyed on thursday. It's the new ombre colour. So you know a few years back it was the dip dye effect, where the colour was quite extreme with dark roots and blonde tips.The ombre colour is more of a gradual lightening effect on the tips with a subtle progression of the change in colour through from the roots to the tips of the hair. I'm not a high maintenance person and anything that means when the colour grows out I wont be left with a panel of dark roots is perfect for me. I love it it... I finally think after 32 years Iv'e found my colour. Thanks to the No3 hairdressing girls...I love you xx

Jessie ware

The Jessie Ware concert in Bristol last night was fab. She looked gorgeous in a tight black dress with delicate lace arms. Her voice was strong and just seemed to glide out with easy, very special .The venue was packed but everyone there was up for a laugh and having fun. The support act was a girl Called Laura Mvula who had a very unique voice and the music had a hypnotizing quality that kept you fixed . Must check out her music as I think she is going to be huge  by the end of this year. Had a great night and met some interesting people along the way which is what I love most about going to gigs ...the people ... the fans !  

By the sea 

Been half term this week so we set off on a road trip. Brighton first for a few days then on to London where the kids made homemade pasta with their great uncle mark.The weather was beautiful and sunny. Winston (our 6 month old puppy) was very happy with the sea air, and fresh crabs he managed to find on his early morning walk. It was Winston's first stay at a Hotel so we did it in style.... great trip and delicious food !!
