Bath In Fashion is upon us again this Saturday for a whole week and as part of Bath in Fashion I was asked to do a style workshop !!

 I will be at the style pavilion on 
Wed 7th May 10am -12am.

I wanted to do some thing a little different that involves the audience so be prepared to get involved when you come along ! Amy Cottington of Wired will also be on hand creating contemporary floral gifts for the audience.

For "Bath's Big Fashion Night Out" on the Thursday I will be at  Duo boots . Find out my favourite picks from their new season collection and some handy styling tips plus a 15% discount in the Bath store on the night.

I was asked to do a photo shoot for Bath in Fashion last week. The shoot was about reflecting a diversity of ages, style and personalities amongst icon settings in Bath .

 It was probably one of the coldest days of the year reaching only 1 degree and we had to look and portray a feeling of spring/ summer for the pictures!! 

Hot chocolate was defo called for after the shoot.

Bath on Ice 

Went along to the opening night of the Bath Ice skating rink last night. We were offered complimentary bubbles when we arrived while hot chocolate was on hand for the kids. They had arrange a lovely ice skating show to get us in the mood before we were all let loose on the ice to try and recreate the performances we had just seen !! 

 Had a great night and I'm impressed on how they had improved and developed it on from last year, obviously taking notes and adding a covered entrances where you can hang out and watch the skaters with the luxury of a bar and food stall...perfect! 

The kids had a fab time and are keen to go back at the weekend. #bathonice 

Pilates

I'am now officially a Pilates teacher !! 

I have completed and PASSED my one year Pilates Matwork  training course at the Scott Studio. It's been an incredible journey and at points I wanted to give up as I thought I  couldn't manage it but I'm so grateful to all the wonderful people on my course that encouraged me and together we all come through and are now qualified Pilates teachers!!

I'm already taking over two full day classes in Winscombe,to cover a fabulous teacher Rachael who is travelling for a few months. So thank you Rachael for trusting me with your wonderful students. At the moment I'm also trying to find a good location in Bath to continue with the friends and clients that I have been training on so I will keep you updated when I have a regular class and look forward to you joining me ! 
I'm also looking in to setting up a concept for " Pilates on the move " which will encourage booking group sessions at your work space , before or after work with your colleagues to encourage a positive and re energised approach at work and helping team members de stress and get the best from  them . 

 It's exciting times as I see Voila my personal styling business complimenting the Pilates to create a lifestyle Brand ...Looking, thinking and feeling... It's all important to keep us uplifted and positive and make the best of ourselves.

Went along to my good friends at No3 hairdressing BlowDry Bar launch last night . It's a brand new service to the salon . Friday nights from 5pm -8pm the salon will be open for you to pop in and choose a look from their menu which the talented team then create for you to go out looking fabulous. Perfect time to introduce this service as with the party season ahead it's another thing to not have to worry about. I went for the soft waves this time which I loved, I think I'm going to be a regular !!

It's early days for this new website,Martini Mum just launched last week. But I was asked to be contributor for the fashion element on the site. It's a website to re-connect with the woman you were before anyone called you mum! Great Idea as it's not focusing on the children like a lot of other mum websites. It's approach is still recognise that life is different after kids but focusing on the personal things we love like good Food, Fashion,Travel  and these passions never fade, We just have less time to do them !! Keep checking it out because it is sure to develop and grow quickly with such a talented founder Serra Kerrigan behind it.

Popped along to the new Bath WHISTLES store this week. If you know me I didn't walk out empty handed ...Sandals and in the sale! Well because it was the first day of the new store they where giving away free rose gold bracelets with every purchase...Oh Whistles I love you even more ;)

Yesterday was the first of the Fashion Shows for Bath in Fashion week and the venue of the Assembly Rooms in Bath made a perfect setting...Grand and elegant . With front row seats I managed to get a great view of the beautiful models styled by Rebekah Roy. I could see many ladies taking down notes and inspiration for their summer wardrobes.I also got to meet all the other Bloggers who were in the final 10 short list, which was nice to put faces to a blog!   After the show there was many events and talks going on in bath for part of the Fashion Night Out , So I popped along to Toast where I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff and a glass of fizz.  I tried on a pair of Saltwater sandals and a denim dress which a styled with a belt to add my personal touch. With every items bought you received a beautiful bunch of wild flowers , which I later found out where put together by the talented Holly who worked there...Such a thoughtful gift for customers, made me feel special !  

Thanks Toast for the lovely gifts and I cant wait to start wearing my sandals.
