Love Food
On Sunday me and the family went along to the Love food festival in bath. It was filled with delicious smells of the most wonderful foods and what a choice their was to eat for our lunch. We wondered from stall to stall trying and tasting a variety of foods, getting our palette ready for a feast. The kids had a yummy sausage fest hot dog, I went for a flatbread filled with roasted aubergine, feta cheese, chickpeas with the added hint of some wonderful spices and herbs. My sister in law went for Dorset sushi.... and what a great choice that was, you have to try it ! Matt had elevenses of samosa followed half an hour later by a ribyeye steak in a bun with a fabulous chimichurri sauce. I also sampled some delish elderflower champagne, which I ended up buying a few bottles of and is now on the Christmas menu list. There was loads of great things for the kids to do like clay models, face paints, arts and crafts and even some woodland story telling thrown in . We all had a lovely time, even if it was a bit chilly. A great transition in to the new autumn season .
The sushi man called his sushi Dorshi !!
Matt managed to squeeze in some cider drinking.
Trying some chocolate mint herb .
The face paints were fantastic. So I got a card from the lady to book for ruby's parties.
