IF Poem app....It's good for the soul !

Set up by the actress and writer Allie Esiri and journalist Rachel Kelly, the app allows you to read, listen to, record and share your favourite poems from a collection of more than 200 classics!

"The app allows children to record themselves reading a poem, or a parent to record themselves reading for their children. Once you have recorded it, you can e-mail the recording to a friend or family member. The poems are also split into suitability for three age groups: 0-6, 7-12 and 13 and over. The app has been illustrated by Natasha Law, whose illustrations have been featured in Vogue and who has collaborated with Mulberry and Beatrix Ong."
The iF Poems app for iPad and iPhone is available to download at £1.99 for the iPhone and £2.99 for the iPad.

Me and the kids have been loving it for the last 2 weeks and I must say, even when the kids are tucked up in bed asleep, I find myself lying in bed with Bill Nighy reading me
A Red,Red Rose  by Robert Burns.
