Bath in Fashion event

Bath in Fashion has come around again and to start the week off Jaeger, official sponsors treated a few selected bloggers to the luxury that only well made fashion can bring "Retail therapy" with one of Britian's iconic brands.
Jaeger was a brand I remember my mum wearing but for us 30 something ladies I must say it wasn't on my radar. That is until creative directer Shelia McKain-Waid gave it a new lease of life, opening it's doors to a whole different market.
I was among Five other bloggers Style by Josephine / Mission styleuk / leshopuk / Wild and grizzly / tigerlillyquin invited along to this exclusive event.

The day started off with a blow dry at the trendy No3 hairdressing salon, which if you know me, know that this is my No1 hair salon in Bath. I think I enjoy my chats with the guy's that work their as much as I do having my hair blow dried. Try out their great Blow Dry bar before a night out or a special event it will change the way you get ready. With Bumble and Bumble as their product of choice you know things are going to turn out well.
Thanks Stefano and Alice for working your magic. xx
A delicious lunch at Hall and Woodhouse was when I got to chat with the other bloggers while we sipped wine and devoured half a lobster and chips.
In the afternoon we headed over to the newly refurbished Jolly's store to see Jaeger's SS15 collection. I was excited to see where the new creative directer had take the brand.
Jolly's store is one of the oldest building in bath. It has many orginal feature one being the area Queen Mary would use as her private dressing room when she would visit Bath and this is at the heart of the store. Still maintaining these beautiful ornate moldings on the four arches and ceiling you can't help feeling like you are in a royal Georgian townhouse and this is now where the Jaeger concession has taken it's roots in Jolly's Bath.
With the pop of fluid pink colours among the classic tones you can spot the timeless elegant pieces all around, you are made to feel like you are in a oasis of calm and beauty. The feeling reminded me of when I visited Yves Saint Laurent gardens in Morocco "Jardin Majorelle" Whether that was the intention of the new creative directer with this collection, it gave me a peaceful feeling. Feminine, strong and at ease, that feeling you get when you reach an age you feel happy with your self and can celebrate and Jaeger have made a collection ready to embrace that.
For me this trench style dress was all I needed. Classic, sexy with a timeless quality. It's the sort of dress that you know your children will look back through pictures of you in and it will be mum and that dress.
With all our different styles each one of us found an outfit that was just us. At the end of the day we got Some wonderful treats from Jaeger, which I will post soon and an extra goodie bag from the ladies at the Lancome counter.
Thank you Jaeger for a great day and now a new shopping haute of mine. Take a look at the Jaeger site to see the collection for yourself or visit your nearest store. I'm sure you will be seeing a lot more Jaeger pieces on the site from now on !!

Jaeger is hosting six bespoke events called 'Conversation of style ' through out Bath In fashion this week so make sure you book now. Im going to the Jaeger talk tonight so maybe see some of you there.
