I have been asked by one of my Pilates students to do a post about what to wear at Pilates. You don't need to spend a fortune these days on sports wear as most of the high street shops do great basics. I buy leggings and my sports bra from H&M and after that T.shirts and Sweater I get from your highstreet shops. Whistles linen t.shirts, sweaters from urbanoutfitters and relaxed long sleeve tops from Comptoir des Cotonniers. I try and get these items when it's sale time as you can pick up some nice t.shirts for £20 that are good quality cotton. Try and get natural fabric on top so you can let the body breath. I make a draw in my wardrobe just for my Pilates clothes so it's not mixed in with my everyday pieces. My trainer socks are simple black ones from H&M.

Tip: make sure no zips or pockets at the back because Pilates involves alot of placement of the pelvis and spine on the Mat and if you have something pushing into your pelvis it's not going to be comfortable.
