Perfect 10
Your building blocks of style :
THREE: Jeans are a fashion essential with the power to make you feel confident and stylish in one simple step.
Vintage Levi's 501 £45
BDG high rise zip jeans £50
BDG Blue stone wash ankle jeans £45
Rag & Bone distressed skinny jean £230 ( or make some cuts above the knees on a pair of jeans you already have )
I'm a big fan of urban outfitters jeans, stocking brands like BDG , Cheap Monday , Vintage Levi's at a good price. But you will find your own shop that just fits your shape well and once you do, it makes jeans shopping a lot less stressful as it's just a matter of choosing what style you want. It's taken me the last 10 years to find a brand I like , and as we get older our shape will change again so you might have to re visit other brands ( Magic pants always help) Since I've got older and had kids it's high waisted jeans for me now, I can't stand my pants and back out for the world to see !
STYLING TIP: My tip would be if you are between size 26-29 you don't need to splash out on an expensive brand of jean. But the thing I can say about the expensive brands is the way the pockets are positioned and the seams on the side are all thoughtfully placed to give the elusion of a great figure. So if you need an extra bit of help it's worth investing in a good pair of jeans, because if you think about it we wear jeans most of the time so you want them to look great!
The style of jeans that are becoming most popular at the moment are the boyfriend cut. Turned up at the bottom with a few rips and a loose comfortable fit. Wear with flip flops and trainers or for a night out a pair of stiletto's .
STYING TIP: Never throw old jeans away, even if the cut is not current, Store them away as they always come back round again. I even turn some old jeans I don't wear into shorts. I do that with the kids trousers when they get to short for them , makes them last longer !!
