Closet Visit

Francesca Randese : One half of the duo that own No3 Hairdressing salon in Bath

What do you love about your job:
Being creative. I love it when I can completely bring someone's look together by changing their hair. It's really nice to see their personality change in front of you - making them feel really great about the way they look, and to watch them strut out of the salon makes me feel really happy!

Most recent purchase:
An anchor top and red salt water sandals. I've also bought a couple of pairs of spotty jeans recently, which I'm loving

5 things you couldn't live without:
                                                     1. My family
                                                     2. I phone
                                                     3. Converse
                                                     4. Earl grey tea
                                                     5. My trips to the south of France!

                          Describe your personal style:
Classic with a twist. I like to wear quite classic pieces, but always like to add something like a scarf around my hair or a pair of beaten up trainers with a smart dress that makes it feel more 'me'. I have a vintage red scarf and belt which are my favourite things to add to most outfits. I love wearing stripy tops, and have a lot of them, so teaming one of them with a full skirt, ballet pumps or cons, the trusty red scarf in my hair and I feel riviera ready!

Favourite places to shop:
comptoir des cotonniers  and Zara are my faves as the cut is perfect for my frame. I also love a good vintage find, and my nan has kept a lot of her old dresses from the sixties which are so glamorous, they make you feel like a bond girl! (if only.)

 Who's style inspires you?
Audrey Hepburn; for her classic style. I often try to channel this look when I'm at work as I own a million black dresses.
French women; I'm not mad on lots of jewellery, and this is something I have noticed on many a stylish french lady! Less is most definitely more.
My daughter Martha; her room is crammed with all things lovely, and when it comes to clothes, she loves to copy her mummy and rock a pair of converse, and when left to choose her own outfit, she is usually found teaming them with a tutu!

Key spring accessory for 2013:
I've got my eye on a beautiful white cropped, vintage style, short sleeved blouse by Isabel marant. I'm yet to purchase anything from this designer, but is really on my radar this season. Oh, and I've just got to get myself a pair of culottes!

What beauty products would you recommend:
Bumble and bumble prep and brilliantine. I hate my hair when it's freshly washed, so by adding brilliantine it gives a more slept in look. And mac studio sculpt foundation. It has just the right coverage and feels very light on the skin.

Bumble & Bumble products are sold at No3 hairdressing salon

What would you never leave the house without:
LIPSTICK! I'm quite happy to leave the house without any make up, as long as I've got my lippy on.
