Bath in Fashion event
Popped along to the Norman Parkinson exhibition last night, and then followed on to Magpie and bear store in bath to hear David Longshaw, fashion designer, talk about his designs . The illustrations he does on his scarfs and clothes are so detailed and unique. I didn't know too much about him till last night but he is now on my fav list. He has also created some animation and a weekly comic stripe for Vogue Italia with some of the characters from his illustrations "Eva & Doug go on Holiday" " Francesca & Arthur" and their is Maude his original creation, Maude has become a fashion icon in her own right ! It seems to me that he is creative in my different mediums and skills and this will equipped him well as he will be able to adapt and develop on many different levels.
